The Stag Inn at Balls Cross, is situated 3 miles north of Petworth, West Sussex. It is renowned locally for being a tremendous pub for country pursuits, simply furnished but full of rural character.

It is a very small pub essentially untouched since the 17th century, still serving game in season, with stone floors, inglenook fireplaces and real ale. There are not many inns like  the Stag left in the whole of the country!

The local villages of Balls Cross and Ebernoe are steeped in history dating back to the medieval period. In addition, the local area offers activities that are difficult to match elsewhere so close to London.
